The most important archeological finds were the Balanghai Boat relics. Here, finally was proof positive of what were told to us about the seafaring ways of the early Filipinos of the vast open sea and of the new settlement. The Balanghai was more than a mere boat. It was more like a vessel bearing a social unit.
The study aims to trace the first Balanghai Boat to the present Balanghai Boats and to reconnect the greatness of the Filipino ancestors and the maritime consciousness among Filipino people.
